Irish soldiers at home and abroad represented by models. The Irish have served in many countries including France Austria Spain Italy Mexico America,there were Irishmen fighting on both sides during the american civil war. There have been Irish regiments in the British army for centuries. At his wedding prince William wore the uniform of the Irish Guards.There is great scope for depicting the Irish fighting man in so many areas and it is a source of enjoyment to me to make miniatures of him in as many uniforms as I can. Needless to say there is much research required before making a figure and this too is a pleasure.   Peadar Collins .
